About Us
Co-Founder of Apadana Fine Rugs, Mike Alidadi is a seasoned design veteran with over 30 years in the interior design business. A few years ago , Mike turned his passion for selling floor decor into developing, manufacturing and creating one-of-a-kind rug productions. A NYC native, Mike moved to Westport, CT when Apadana moved from the Big Apple to SONO. Well versed in imports and antiques, Mike started selling and producing new designs around 10 years ago. Working closely with designers and architects to create spaces that are both functional and beautiful, Mike’s latest emphasis is on working with design professionals to create more unique, sustainable, eco-friendly options.
