''Four years ago, our principal founder and distiller Jonathan (JD) decided to put his college chemistry education to good use and purchased a still, with the sole purpose of creating a GREAT gin. Perfected in his basement over several years, the gin was given as a gift locally and met rave reviews. In short order it brought together some like-minded Wesonites and spirits enthusiasts; Fernando, Geoff and Alex. The four partners founded AKA Spirits and 3 months ago, in mid-May, launched TUCK gin in CT and NY. Short for Sauga(TUCK), the river that connects the founders in Weston, TUCK is now distilled in Greenport, LI to the same recipe as the original gin and enjoyed at over 120 locations.''
