About Us

For over six decades, The Human Services Council (HSC) has identified unmet community needs and has “filled the gaps” by developing and implementing programs focusing on alcohol and drug prevention, affordable housing, child advocacy, homelessness, hunger, medical and psychosocial health of children and adolescents, mentoring and volunteerism. Collaborating with local not-for-profit organizations, HSC provides services to over 8,000 children and adolescents

each year ensuring the delivery of vital human services in a cost efficient and effective manner. An impressive ninety cents of every dollar raised by HSC goes directly to program funding. Corporations and individuals can be confident that their contributions to HSC will support diverse and efficiently run programs that safeguard and develop today’s youth and address the changing needs of our community.
